**About You**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain a calendar of outreach activities including community events, workshops, appearances, and other communication opportunities with assigned communities
- Creating and nurturing relationships with collaborative partners within assigned communities
- Search for opportunities and schedule regular outreach exhibitions and site visits with businesses in the community
- Play an integral role in the development and organization of engagement initiatives, including exhibitions, special events, tradeshows, site visits with businesses, business-to-business/door-to-door, and other promotional efforts
- Assist in the marketing, planning, and execution of related projects to increase brand awareness in the community
- Lead generation: perform outreach initiatives over the phone to inform potential clients of our programs, and encourage them to apply
- Ensure outreach projects and initiatives align with overall marketing strategy
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the team to achieve overall department goals
- Assist in the development and production of promotional materials including online marketing tools, brochures, handouts, flyers, media ads, and reports
- Engage local prospective partners and assist Community & Sales Managers in expanding community presence
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- At least 1-2 years in a similar role with a focus on brand awareness, community engagement
- Diploma/degree in communications, marketing, or related is considered an asset
- Strong customer service skills both in person and over the phone
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of basic marketing practices, including traditional marketing practices
- Experience in program coordination, event coordination, or similar experience is an asset
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
