Job Summary:
Banjo Cider is launching a new food service on our patio from June to early October. This will be a small but tasty, and hopefully busy outdoor food service We are seeking experienced staff in food service to do food prep, take orders and payment, and cook. This position offers an opportunity to work in an outdoor setting with great customers and staff You will also receive tips.

**Responsibilities**:

- Food preparation
- Grill food on the barbecue and assemble plates/dishes
- Take orders and accept payment for food
- Some dishwashing at the end of each shift with a commercial dishwasher
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Follow proper food handling procedures and adhere to food safety regulations

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the food industry or a restaurant setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to work quickly
- Must be able to start in June and work until end of season (approx Thanksgiving, exact date TBD)
- Must be available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
- Shifts are from approximately 4 hours to 8 hours long, and start as early as 10 am and end as late as 9 pm.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to food safety guidelines
- Excellent customer service skills to assist with guest inquiries
- Food handling certificate a strong asset
- Ability to problem-solve

Pay: $17.00 per hour
