The Opportunity

We're seeking a dynamic and growth-minded Banquet Chef / Line Cook to join our team — a passionate individual who thrives in both high-energy à la carte service and the precision of large-format event execution.

This hybrid position offers the best of both worlds:

You'll work closely with our Head Chef to deliver exceptional guest experiences — from elegant weddings under the stars to thoughtfully plated dinners at Nest. Your Role

  • Execute banquet production for weddings, corporate functions, and private events, ensuring seamless service and consistent quality.

  • Work the line during à la carte service, crafting dishes that reflect Trail Hub's farm-to-table philosophy.

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef on seasonal menu development, prep plans, and event timelines.

  • Manage event mise en place, batch cooking, and plating logistics for smooth, high-volume execution.

  • Uphold the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organization.

  • Support inventory control, ordering, and supplier relationships.

  • Lead by example — fostering teamwork, precision, and pride in presentation.

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of professional kitchen experience, ideally with exposure to banquet or catering operations.

  • A strong understanding of kitchen flow, timing, and large-batch production.

  • A genuine passion for local, seasonal, and sustainable cuisine.

  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to pivot between fast-paced line service and structured banquet prep.

  • Keen attention to detail, organization, and consistency.

  • Positive energy, adaptability, and a drive to learn and grow.

  • Availability Wednesday–Sunday, including evenings and events.
