Overview:
**Daiken North America LTD** is seeking an** Information Technology Infrastructure Technician** at our **Huntsville**, **ON** facility, (formerly Panolam Industries LTD).

The Information Technology Infrastructure Technician will support all IT Infrastructure Operations and verify that technology processes, policies and procedures are aligned with company standards.

The Information Technology Infrastructure Technician will provide Level 1 and 2 technical and functional support for company infrastructure with the purpose of maintaining high availability, integrity and up-time.

**Responsibilities**:

- Hardware: Support all IT systems both in the Plant and the front office. Currently deployed hardware includes Dell and Lenovo end-user workstations, iOS and Android mobile devices, printers.
- Network: Support LAN systems consisting of Cisco and HP switching, Wireless Access points, fiber optic and copper cabling
- Work with vendors and Plant Engineers to support the workstations running the manufacturing equipment and OT support.
- Assist in implementing network hardening measures to protect against potential cyber threats and reinforce data protection
- Install and configure new software, computers, or peripheral equipment.

Qualifications:
**Essential Qualifications**:

- Must have excellent knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
- Working knowledge of: Active Directory and Office 365.
- Experience supporting VOIP and collaboration tools.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or other Cisco certifications is preferred
- WAN experience is preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with employees at all levels of the organization
- Critical thinking with problem solving skills. ability to operate and troubleshot assigned equipment.
- Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies with a track record of achievements

**Required Education and Experience**:

- IT Industry certifications or a degree in a related field of study
- 5+ years of increasingly responsible experience in information technology; help desk, technical support, and communications with project management.

**Work Environment**:Manufacturing and/or office

**Physical Demands**:This job requires the ability to sit, climb, stand, lift and/or move 50lbs.

**Position Type and Expected Hours of Work**:This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday.
