**What you'll do**
- BC Hydro’s Supply Chain function is integral to maintaining operations and keeping the lights on. Supply Chain supports
safe, cost-effective, and timely work through the procurement and delivery of materials and services.
As an integral part of BC Hydro’s supply chain, the Supply Chain Central Services department consists of several teams
that provide leadership and expertise in supply chain policies, reporting, analytics, and supply chain technology solutions.
They also manage various operational services, including accounts payable and vendor maintenance, and oversee several
enterprise-wide programs such as contingent labour, travel, office supplies, corporate card programs and others.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-driven and experienced professional to join Supply Chain Central Services as a
Project Manager, Process Improvement Advisor.
The mission of the Project Manager, Process Improvement Advisor is to collaborate within Supply Chain Central Services
and across BC Hydro with cross-functional teams to evaluate current business practices and identify opportunities for
improvement. These improvements typically aim to enhance efficiency, productivity, service levels, cost management, and
satisfaction among suppliers and internal clients. The initial focus for the role will be on processes in vendor maintenance
and accounts payable, with plans to expand to other programs within the Supply Chain Central Services portfolio. The
Project Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of projects that may impact various internal business groups and suppliers
and may lead all aspects of change.

Key accountabilities include:
- Through analysis of information coupled with business understanding, provide insights to management on current
performance and business improvement opportunities for various functions such as accounts payable operations, vendor
maintenance and other programs managed within Supply Chain Central Services and make recommendations to advance
achievements of key objectives related to efficiency, costs, service levels etc.
- Lead collaborative working groups as required to achieve collective understanding, support and implementation of
improvement opportunities.
- Write and present plans, business cases and business process flow documentation for management and internal
stakeholders to support recommendations/options/alternatives and to support effective decision-making.
- Lead initiatives/projects to implement new or pre-existing recommendations, including communication, stakeholder
engagement and change management plans. Manage the project lifecycle from planning, and initiation through to the
delivery and measurement of key results.
- Identify, support and arrange training and education related to any new processes and champion the implementation.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of performance measurements and targets to support operational
excellence of the programs. Collaborate with other business units involved in the implementation of initiatives which impact
Supply Chain Sentral Services functions such as accounts payable operations.
- Initiate, develop and maintain influential working relationships across Supply Chain and with key stakeholder groups at BC
Hydro.
- Support and contribute to cross-Supply Chain initiatives as required which may include writing and presenting plans,
business cases, reports and other documents for senior management and key stakeholder groups.
