**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Logistics/Shipping Clerk. As an integral part of our company's operations, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of all outgoing shipments. Other responsibilities of this role include, but not limited to: assisting in all inventory cycle counts and reconciliation, packaging of finished goods, operating a counterbalance forklift to load/unloading product from vehicles, and move packages and material around our facilities.

**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and facilitate the outbound shipping of product to domestic or international clients or service providers
- Work with Project Managers to gather, understand and prioritize all client shipping requirements
- Using our ERP and online tools, prepare and organize all required customs and shipping documentation, ensure completeness and that all outgoing shipments are accompanied with necessary documentation
- Pack and prepare products for shipping, following proper packing and labelling procedures
- Track and follow-up on shipments, report to internal managers and all stakeholders
- Address and resolve all issues related to shipping
- Negotiate freight rates with third party carriers both for spot quotes and set rates
- Coordinate intercompany shipments between warehouses
- Coordinate and ensure all client orders are ready for pick up, in a timely manner
- Update order status in ERP along the cycle of an order, from new order to prepared to be shipped
- Respond to internal inquiries and requests on shipping and delivery schedule
- Liaise and coordinate with clients upon their arrival for pick ups
- Ensure client’s requirements are met and communicated with all parties involved
- Assist the Supply Chain team in maintaining accurate inventory including assisting with cycle counting, searching for causes for discrepancies, etc.
- Assist when required with the Supply Chain team members in other tasks such as kitting, receiving, packaging, crating, and other non-logistics related tasks
- Ensuring the shipping and receiving areas are clean and orderly (indoors and outdoors)
- Adheres to all Health and Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a logistics role
- Experience using an ERP software system for data entry and inventory transactions
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, administrative and analytical skills
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing between 50 to 75 pounds
- Ability to multitask effectively and manage many different moving parts
- Highly detailed and precision oriented. Accuracy in this position is a must
- Proactively identify potential problems and taking care of them before they might escalate
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks
- 2-3 years of counterbalance forklift experience, with a valid certification
- Possession of a valid G level Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Controlled Goods Clearance will be required
- Other warehouse and material handling experience is considered an asset
