**Job Summary**
Smoky Lake Pharmacy is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented **Pharmacy Technical Assistant** to support our dedicated team in delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate care to our community. **Key Responsibilities**
- **Medication Preparation & Dispensing**:

- Assist in preparing prescriptions (counting, pouring, labeling) under supervision

**Customer Service**
- Receive and process prescription orders from patients and healthcare providers
- Provide non-clinical information such as refill status and pickup times
- Handle payments and insurance claims
- Deliver OTC/pharmaceutical products to the Senior’s Lodge

**Inventory Management**
- Maintain stock levels of OTC and prescription products
- Check for expired medications and manage returns/disposals
- Track and reorder packaging supplies and related materials

**Clerical & Administrative Support**
- Maintain accurate patient records and complete data entry tasks
- Process prescription renewals and fax requests to physicians
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming pharmacy environment
- Package and label medications accurately
- Prepare blister packs and unit dose packaging

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional training in pharmacy or healthcare is an asset)
- Previous pharmacy or retail healthcare experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $17.00-$22.50 per hour
