Shawnigan Lake, Canada Island Pharmacy Full time

Island Pharmacy is looking to hire a full-time pharmacy assistant to join our team in Shawnigan Lake Computer efficiency and positive attitude are imperative for this position. Experience preferred, however we're happy to train anyone who is willing & able to learn learn quickly in a fast paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- intake and dispensing of prescriptions
- using computer systems to generate stock lists and labels
- ordering medications and medical/pharmacy supplies
- maintaining and counting inventory
- receiving, loading, and unloading deliveries
- selling over-the-counter medicines and front store items
- answering customers questions face to face or by phone
- preparing, packaging, assembling and labelling medication
- handling and processing till transactions
- general cleaning and housekeeping
- referring problems or queries to the pharmacist or pharmacy manager
- additional duties when necessary

Wage will be based on experience.
