Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Superintendent for a night shift. In this role, you’ll assist with overseeing and coordinating our project to help ensure it stays on track and within budget. You’ll work under the guidance of the team, help implement project plans and schedules, focus on-site safety and quality control, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Essential Responsibilities
- Lead project execution, ensuring compliance with contracts, sub-contracts, plans, specs, and shop drawings.
- Supervise and coordinate sub-trades.
- Promote and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards on the project.
- Ensure materials and work meet quality standards and codes.
- Maintain and update the construction schedule, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
- Issue purchase orders, confirm material receipt, and manage equipment returns.
- Participate in project meetings to monitor progress.
- Maintain accurate daily reports on site activities and inspections.
- Perform duties as outlined in Ledcor’s Construction Operations Manual.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience as a Superintendent or at least 2 years as a Foreman.
- An OFA Level 2 ticket is considered an asset for this role
- Can maintain strong relationships with finishing sub-trades, suppliers, and vendors.
- Ability to manage project schedules and conduct PDI’s.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Understanding of construction practices, documents, and project management.
- Skilled in budgeting, scheduling, and using related software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Valid provincial driver’s license.

Work Conditions
- Night shifts.
- Must pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.
