**Position Information**:
The Ontario Workers Network (OWN) is a network of hospitals and professional providers across Ontario who are connected by technology and committed to delivering coordinated care. It includes a network of interdisciplinary clinics offering specialized third-party occupational rehabilitation services.
At the Ottawa Hospital, OWN offers a variety of rehabilitation services for complex presentations involving acquired brain injury and comorbid mental health concerns.
This position is for the TOH OWN Acquired Brain injury (ABI) and Amputee program. Home campus is at the Ottawa Hospital Rehabilitation Center.
**Rotation/Shifts**:
Days, 8 hour shifts.
**Basic Requirements**:
- A regulated Health Professional in good standing with their respective regulatory body;
- A minimum of 4 years of clinical rehabilitation experience;
- Knowledge of the principles of concussion management and interdisciplinary rehabilitation;
- Knowledge of mental health programming, treatments, interdisciplinary rehabilitation;
- Excellent knowledge of principles of management and research based practice;
- Knowledge of health care disciplines in Clinical Services and their role in patient care;
- Knowledge and ability to enhance continuum of care;
- Knowledge of clinical software and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Knowledge of statistics and ability to analyze fiscal and patient care data;
- Knowledge of theoretical frameworks and research methods;
- Excellent skills in oral and written communication;
- Ability to interact with large groups;
- Group facilitation and adult education skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Ability to deal with difficult situations and crisis;
- Ability to implement, facilitate, and lead change;
- Proven ability in working effectively with all members of health care team;
- Ability to respond to large numbers of simultaneous demands from patients, families, staff, physicians, Material Management, Human Resources, etc.
- Eligible to work in Canada
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience in program development, oversight and operations
- Administrative leadership experience with mild to moderate brain injury and mental health settings;
- Knowledge of the WSIB continuum of care and programs of care;
- Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
