**Bagging Plant Operator (Night Shift)**

**Salary**: $27.91/hour

**Work schedule**:

- The shifts are 12 hours on rotation each week : week 1 is 2 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on & week 2 is 2 days off, 3 days on and 2 days off

- Week 1 -work Monday, Tuesday, off Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Work - Saturday, Sunday (48 hours)
- Week 2 - off Monday, Tuesday, work Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, off Saturday ,Sunday (36 hours)

As a professional team member of Ray-Mont Logistics, the main responsibilities will consist of the following:
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Ensuring all requirements are met at the plant to keep the unloading of resin pellets following smoothly.
- Connect hoses to railcars after identifying seal numbers, removing caps, placing catch trays underneath the hopper and installing filters.
- Start/stop vacuum system as needed and set the vacuum pressure accordingly.
- Disconnect hoses once hoppers are empty, clean any spills that occur immediately.
- Check bags as they come off bagger to ensure proper sealing at welded seams.
- Clear any obstructions from the line when they occur. Garbage removal and general cleaning of plant and yard or designated plant. Keep workspace clean and free of any slipping or tripping hazards.
- Keep all packaging supplies stocked inside the dome, notify team leader when out of inventory. Refill supplies on the line as needed running production (pallets, slipsheets, stretch film, topsheet, ink etc.)
- Reset and program machines during product changes or as needed to maintain optimal pallet format.
- Load pallets into container once completed on the line, do a final quality inspection check to verify the LOT and labelling. Attach a pallet label to the pallet if applicable.
- Take samples from railcars and Take photos of containers prior to loading, during and once complete to Ray-Mont cloud
- Have the basic understanding and troubleshooting of the following machines: Wulftec, Wrapper, Palletizer, Bagger and Vacuum.
- Use of basic hand tools is an asset (Drills, Nail Guns, Air hoses) and Use of small machinery is an asset (Skid steer, Forklift, JLG lift)
- Willingness to learn and adapt as it is required to work at any of our operations. The employee will be cross trained on bulk/bagging and pulp if need be.

- **Must clear Medical Assessment as Part of Pre-Hire Process**:

- Have a valid class 5 driver’s License (Terminal is not accessible by public transportation).
- Ability to work/stand for long hours. You will be required to stand during the entire 12-hour shift.
- Comfortable working outdoors and in any weather condition
- Be meticulous, organized, and autonomous.
- Basic computer skills and Radio communication
- Previous experience operating equipment (forklift, bobcat) is an asset.
- Spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
- Comfortable with lifting 25kg consistently
