**Join Our Team**
The **Facilities Specialist** supports all store operations and business departments by coordinating all maintenance activities necessary to provide continuous operation of store equipment and facilities in a safe and cost effective manner. The Facilities Specialist supports the company goals by focusing on cost management, personal accountability, customer service, and work efficiency.
**What You Will Do**
- ** Performs diverse administrative support functions**
- ** Assists management with administrative details; gathers, compiles and reports information relevant to/for department**:
- ** Handle purchase orders and vendor inquiries for the Facilities group, including data input**:
- ** Responsible for assisting team with vendor set up requests**
- ** Responsible for resolving unusual usage increases with existing utilities**:
- ** May manage a number of different and often conflicting objectives, projects or activities at one time**:
- ** Coordinates, from start to finish, all maintenance requests from operations and business departments**:
- ** Maintains and updates data on company maintenance programs**
- ** Reviews business and historical data as required prior to contacting contractors or vendors**:
- ** Issues work orders to operations, contractors, and vendors**
- ** Understands and implements maintenance service contracts and agreements**
- ** Obtains multiple bids as needed or requested by management**
- ** Maintains and updates a list of approved contractors and vendors in area of responsibility**:
- ** Participates in field visits and meetings as requested by management**
- ** Promptly and effectively communicates with both internal and external customers**:
- ** Maintains files on all maintenance related paperwork**
- ** Follows the company and department policies and procedures**
- ** Completes other duties as assigned by management that supports the continued success of the Central Canada Division**:
**What You Need**
- ** Must have demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills be self-directed, self-motivated and customer service oriented**:
- ** Strong verbal and written communication skills**
- ** Intermediate/Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)**
- ** Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook**
- ** Possess general knowledge of buildings and c-store equipment**
- ** Possess strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills**
- ** Possess multi-tasking skills**
- ** Ability to organize and prioritize detailed information**
- ** Team player with a professional demeanor**
- ** Strong verbal and written communication skills with heavy emphasis on phone skills. Ability to coordinate urgent or multiple requests in a calm and professional manner**:
