**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Interacting with customers (including serving food and drink)
- Ensuring that a high standard of customer service is always maintained
- Overseeing compliance with health and safety regulations (FOH and BOH) at all times
- Running promotional campaigns to market in-house products and events
- Collecting and acting on customer feedback to improve the overall experience for our guests
- Undertaking regular stock checks, placing orders with suppliers and restocking
- Ensuring regular maintenance of the premises, including cleaning and minor repairs
- Recruiting, training and managing staff
- Leading meetings to update and motivate staff members
- Monitoring profitability and performance to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded
- Meeting with the management team to assess pub performance and set sales targets
- Ensuring that the pub adheres to various legal frameworks (liquor acts, safety, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned
**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking and communication skills
- Excellent staff management, motivation and leadership skills
- High level of timeliness and adhering to quality standards
- Strong working knowledge of POS systems and cash out procedures
- Experience with ordering and inventory
- Experience with scheduling, menu planning and forecasting
- Ability to respond positively to high pressure situations
- Firm understanding of Employment Standards
- Critical thinking and the ability to make decisive decisions
- Experience with Tock or equivalent reservation systems
- First Aid Level 1
- Wine Education (WSET 1 and WSET 2 preferred)
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Management role in the Hospitality Industry
- Serving it Right
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- Able to stand for extended periods of time (8+ hours) and lift upwards of 50 lbs
**SCHEDULE AND PAY**:
- Full-time
- Primarily closing shifts
- 45 hrs/week
- $50k-60k annual salary + tips
