**Job Description**:

The Manager, Enterprise Change Management, is responsible to execute the development, implementation and ongoing support of Island Health's Enterprise Change Management Practice. The Manager functions as a strategic partner, providing guidance of methodology and also as a department Manager of change practice consultants who partner with operations on a wide range of organizational change initiatives. Utilizing solid project and change management principles and processes, the Manager will advise on major organizational transformation initiatives established across the programs and portfolios of Island Health, engaging key partners and providing leadership, coaching, and direction to leaders, teams, and committees.

In the course of performing their duties, the Manager, Enterprise Change Management will impact the successful implementation of projects by facilitating sound change management practice. Further, the Manager will foster a culture of excellence in Change Management. In partnership with key organizational partners such as Planning, Enterprise Project Management Office, Human Resources, Organizational Development, and Communications, the Manager plays a crucial role in creating the necessary environment for each person's experience of Island Health to be in alignment with our organizational values as well as with our organizational commitment to psychological safety, cultural safety, and cultural humility.

Reporting to the Executive Director and working across the entire organization, the Manager, Enterprise Change Management provides leadership to the continuum of Enterprise Change and Strategy Management services at Island Health including preparing, managing, and sustaining organizational change.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education, Training And Experience**:
A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Master's degree in a relevant discipline, such as, Behavioural Sciences field, Leadership or Organizational Design/Development, plus five (5) years recent related experience in a leadership role in Organizational Change, preferably within a health care system. Knowledge of PROSCI or other change methodologies, Project Management designations, and/or Quality Improvement certifications.

**Skills And Abilities**:

- Demonstrated competency in the implementation of evidence-informed practice in areas such as change management, employee engagement, cultural transformation, business redesign processes, systems thinking, and learning and innovation.
- Demonstrated ability to assess, design, implement, and evaluate change initiatives and programs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills along with the capability of providing leadership to a diverse team and building enduring relationships across all levels of internal and external groups.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills coupled with the ability to write and edit high quality business documents (such as business cases, master project plans, risk management plans, communication plans, and progress reports) and to facilitate large and diverse groups and negotiate to consensus.
- Thorough knowledge and experience leading complex change encompassing the entire spectrum of unit or team level through to enterprise or systems level and demonstrated knowledge of project and change management principles and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, positive relationships and effectively work with various partners in a consultative/collaborative manner.
- Ability to provide leadership, guidance and direction to staff and leadership teams and to plan and establish courses of action for self and others that are results oriented.
- Ability to effectively manage budget and staff resources.
- Comfortable with change and managing resistance. Effective in leading change processes and supporting others, facing significant change.
- Highly proficient and demonstrable level of intercultural understanding and competency.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of psychological safety and organizational culture.
- Demonstrated innovation, systems thinking and creativity in problem solving and decision-making and an ability to approach issues with a systems view.
- Excellent presentation, interviewing, facilitating, and negotiating skills.
- Physical ability to fulfil the duties of the role.
