**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Team Leadership**: Lead and manage a crew of skilled concrete workers, ensuring efficient utilization of labor and equipment to complete projects to the highest standards.
- **Project Management**: Oversee all aspects of concrete construction projects, from planning and scheduling to execution and closeout. Monitor progress, manage resources, and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- **Quality Control**: Maintain strict quality control standards, ensuring that concrete work meets or exceeds industry standards and project requirements.
- **Safety Compliance**: Champion a safety-first culture by enforcing strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular safety meetings, and proactively addressing potential hazards.
- **Communication**: Foster clear and effective communication among team members, project stakeholders, and management. Provide regular project updates and report on progress, challenges, and solutions.
- **Resource Management**: Coordinate with project managers to allocate resources effectively, including materials, equipment, and labor, to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- **Problem Solving**: Identify and address project-related challenges in a timely manner, implementing innovative solutions to ensure project success.
- **Training and Development**: Mentor and train crew members to enhance their skills and promote career growth within the organization.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: A minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete construction, with a proven track record of progressively responsible roles, including supervisory experience.
- **Technical Expertise**: In-depth knowledge of concrete construction techniques, formwork systems, reinforcing materials, and finishing processes.
- **Leadership Skills**: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team to achieve project goals.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
- **Problem Solving**: Adept at analyzing challenges, developing effective solutions, and making informed decisions under pressure.
- **Safety Focus**: Deep commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
- **Physical Fitness**: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- **Driver's License**: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

**Salary**: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- GTA, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
