Maintenance Technician

Toronto, Canada Victory's Kitchen Full time

Responsible for the mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance of all equipment, including but not limited to installations, dismantling and reassembling
- Good troubleshooting skills. Respond to any equipment issues, taking action to resolve and repair
- Assist with completing preventative and predictive maintenance and overall maintenance and repair of all equipment
- Perform daily housekeeping and cleaning duties of equipment including but not limited to quality inspections
- Maintains and updates records of tasks and inventory of spare parts
- Must complete maintenance documents and communicate with his teammates
- Ability to respond to emergency maintenance breakdowns and requests
- Proactive in recommending equipment maintenance to ensure malfunctions and downtime are kept to a minimum
- Assist in supervising Contractor repairs and maintenance
- Ensures all Health and Safety protocols are followed when completing assessments and repairs
- Any other duties as assigned by Management

**Skills, Qualifications and Experience**
- Industrial Mechanic or industrial electrician Knowledge required
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician
- Experience working in food processing and equipment an asset
- Must be able to speak, read, write and communicate in English
- Ability to work weekends if required

**Salary**: $34.00-$38.00 per hour

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
