- G2J 0B9**Reporting to the Vice-President Ideation, the Artistic Director's mission is to clearly communicate his or her artistic vision across all artistic disciplines, while aligning it with the project's objectives and ambitions. This person demonstrates a proven ability to articulate artistic approaches in a collaborative context, while challenging the way games are created. The Artistic Director is a natural artist who can talk about concept, modeling, texturing and lighting. His experience and leadership help structure the teams he works with. The Director is responsible for the artistic direction of the 2D and 3D art team, creates processes, manages the vision and may actively participate in projects.**
- Define product visual identity;
- Set up visual style guides (moodboards, design images, etc.);
- Collaborate with creative, technology and production teams to achieve key milestones;
- Plan the needs of the art department, focusing on product quality;
- Participate in the artistic recruitment process;
- Maintain a balance between technical and artistic requirements;
- Plan and supervise artistic teams;
- Provide artistic leadership to drive the overall vision of the project;
- Act as a mentor to the artistic team;
- Respect BKOM Studios' confidentiality and IT security policies when using shared resources;
- Any other related duties.

**Requirements**:

- More than 5 years of leadership experience in art direction for AA and/or AAA games;
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in the video game industry;
- In-depth knowledge of all artistic disciplines, including concept, character, animation, environment, visual effects, user interface, lighting, shading and rendering;
- Innovative skills and excellent understanding of the creative process;
- Portfolio of personal and professional artistic achievements;
- Experience in creating original intellectual property for video games;
- Experience of working with game engines;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to visualize and communicate ideas;
- Ability to contribute directly to artistic creation through concrete examples;
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.
