Description

We are looking for a Functional Analyst for a permanent role or a 12-month contract with our Montreal office.

As a consultant you will help our clients with their ongoing IT projects.

Tâches

There is a need to supplement the staff in the Budget, Finance & HR IT portfolio to support operations as well as support the work related to various projects and/or enhancement requests from the users.

The functional analyst will be working in conjunction with other team members and other teams (e.g. DBAs, development, external provider) as well as the business users. The work involves operational support (e.g. responding to incidents and service requests) as well as producing artifacts (e.g. functional specifications, test plans, etc..) in the context of projects and/or enhancements. There is a need to be part of a rotation to handle operational support for 1 week every 4-6 weeks (during business hours only).

Exigences

This role requires knowledge of SQL (PL/SQL is a plus) and is centered around the Ellucian Banner ERP system, specifically the Finance module, but could involve work in other areas.

Knowledge of the following is a plus: experience in a higher education setting, Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), Oracle, ITIL, JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, Ellucian Banner
