**About the role**

We are seeking a highly skilled **Technical Lead** with expertise in **Fluent Commerce** to drive the architecture, design, and implementation of our **Order Management System (OMS)** solutions. As a key technical leader, you will play a crucial role in guiding our engineering teams, ensuring best practices, and delivering scalable, high-performance OMS solutions for our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of **Fluent Commerce OMS** solutions, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Architect and implement **order orchestration, inventory visibility, fulfillment, and return management**solutions.
- Collaborate with **cross-functional teams** including product managers, business analysts, and engineering teams to define technical requirements and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews to **development teams** working on OMS implementations.
- Ensure seamless **integration of Fluent Commerce** with ERP, eCommerce platforms, WMS, and other enterprise systems.
- Develop and enforce **coding standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices** to maintain system quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex **technical issues**, optimizing system performance and scalability.

**Qualifications**
- ** 5+ years** of experience in software development, with at least **3 years in Order Management Systems (OMS)**.
- ** Strong expertise in Fluent Commerce**, including configuration, customization, and API integrations.
- Hands-on experience with **Java, JavaScript (Node.js), GraphQL, RESTful APIs**, and cloud platforms (**AWS, Azure, or GCP**).
- Proven experience in **microservices architecture**, containerization (**Docker, Kubernetes**), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep understanding of **order lifecycle management, inventory management, and fulfillment orchestration**.
- Strong knowledge of **enterprise integration patterns**, including working with **ERP, CRM, eCommerce, and WMS platforms**.
- Experience in leading **technical teams**, mentoring developers, and conducting code reviews.
- Excellent **problem-solving skills**, attention to detail, and the ability to work in an agile environment.
- Strong **communication and stakeholder management skills** to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with **Fluent Commerce certification** or prior implementations in large-scale enterprises.
- Knowledge of **headless commerce architecture and MACH (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless) principles**.
- Experience in **DevOps practices**, including monitoring and logging solutions (**Kibana, Datadog, Splunk**).
- Exposure to **GraphQL-based commerce solutions** and other OMS platforms.
