**Job Summary**

**Duties**:

- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Assist clients with mobility and daily living activities to promote independence.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being.
- Document client progress and report any concerns or changes in health status to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
- Support clients with dementia care by using appropriate communication techniques and strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with patient care practices, medication administration, and caregiving techniques.
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of dementia care principles is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A compassionate approach to caregiving with a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those you support.
