**Job Summary**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need of care, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with clients who may require support due to various health conditions, including dementia and hospice care. Your contributions will make a significant difference in the lives of those you support, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.

**Duties**
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Help with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Assist clients with mobility and heavy lifting as needed.
- Administer basic care for individuals with dementia or those in hospice care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
- Document client progress and report any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience and reference in caregiving or related fields such as assisted living or home care is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care and hospice care practices is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- A caring attitude and a commitment to providing high-quality support.
- Certification or training in nursing or relevant caregiving fields is an asset.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if required.
