We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientated Labourer to join our team.

As a Labourer and a member of the Klondike team, you will be responsible for completing a variety of hands-on construction labour work.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Promote and maintain good working relationships and collaboration with peers, clients, consultants, and suppliers
- Ensure safety is a priority that is managed in every project

General Labourer
- Clean and prepare construction sites as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use
- Load and unload construction supplies from trucks manually or using equipment
- Demolition
- Safely run a jackhammer, coring machine, and other construction equipment as requested
- Use knowledge of rigging and rigging signals
- Other duties, as required

Required Experience & Skills
- First aid, confined space, and fall protection training are strong assets (training provided)
- Physically able to safely and repetitively lift and carry at least 50 pounds on a regular basis and stand/walk for long periods of time
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and a self-starter
- Open to learning from peers, trades, and our Site Superintendent
- Ability to work independently and without supervision
- Ability to work in different weather and terrains
- Ability to work full shifts from 7:30-4:00, 5 days a week, and weekends occasionally
- Must have your own transportation with the ability to work multiple worksites in the lower mainland
- Must have full PPE: Steel toe boots, hard hat, etc.
