Active Fire & Safety Services is a growing fire safety company that’s been servicing the Lower Mainland for almost 30 years We are a forward-thinking company with a legacy of success, and we pride ourselves on having a team of industry leading talent.

We are currently looking for a dynamic and energetic marketing sales representative to join our service team. The marketing salesperson will be responsible for the growth, profitability, and the development of new business within the fire protection industry.

**DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES**:

- Professionally represent Active Fire & Safety, its products, and services
- Maintain existing customer base and explore business prospects
- Develop new sales opportunities throughout the fire protection industry
- Assess customer needs and provide quotes in a timely fashion
- Work closely with our digital marketing firm
- Participate in marketing and sales functions
- Travel to various locations throughout the Lower Mainland for quoting purposes

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Three years of marketing and sales experience in a technical industry
- Evidence of prospecting experience and customer cold calling
- Strong interpersonal skills with customers and fellow employees
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- General knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Proficient at communicating verbally and in writing
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Able to navigate Microsoft systems and other desktop programs

**Compensation**:

- Base salary plus commission
- Extended health care and insurance
- Sick pay as per BC Employment Standards
- Paid holiday pay as per BC Employment Standards
- Company provided phone
- Vehicle allowance
- Company social events
- In-house and factory product training

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
