**Job Overview**
**GarDel Metal Products is a Sheet Metal/Machining Custom Fabrication Company that produces custom Sheet Metal/Machined components and assemblies for the Aerospace, Defense and Medical Industries.**
**We are looking for a Production Manager for day shift with minimum 5 years experience working on the floor with an additional 5 years experience in a Supervisory role.**
**Duties**
- Manage daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Supervise and train production staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Monitor equipment performance and conduct regular maintenance checks to minimize downtime.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the manufacturing facility.
- Analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Coordinate with other departments such as quality control, logistics, and supply chain to optimize production workflows.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely and effectively in daily operations.
**Experience**
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience, 5 years minimum.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management practices.
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
