We are looking for a **Full Time Set Up Team Lead** This is an exciting opportunity to grow and gain experience with The Original Cakerie.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and assign daily tasks, verify completion of tasks and related documentation.
- Direct and follow-up on other employees to ensure the completion of assigned work in the setup and sanitation
- Equipment set up and troubleshooting adjustments, to keep products within standard and the line running at or above required performance
- Maintaining the required hygiene standards of the equipment and the facility, consistent with GMP standards and Master Sanitation Schedules
- Train new and existing employees within the department
- Effectively communicating with other departments to work together to achieve organizational results
- Work with Production Supervisors to ensure daily planning is followed efficiently.
- Liaising with New Product Team to set up equipment and coordinate resources for product testing, trials and production runs.
- Work with QA team to ensure procedures and guidelines are followed to ensure food safety standards
- Coordination of the completion of Master Cleaning Schedule Supporting staff on day-to-day basis
- Ensure all daily shift paperwork is kept in order, completed accurately and filed at shift end.
- Ensure that all production activities are working efficiently and that changeovers are smooth, and on schedule.
- Help keep material and time waste to a minimum.
- Achieve shift targets for productivity/quality/hygiene
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety and hygiene standards\

**Position Requirements**:

- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Experience in large food manufacturing machinery set up
- Ability to work flexible graveyard shifts
- Proven ability of successful problem solving, conflict resolution and planning skills required.
- A fast thinker who shows initiative and has a strong mechanical aptitude
- Starting wage of **_$24.14_** per hour
- Permanent staff are eligible for 100% premiums for provincial medical and extended health upon successful completion of your probation period

Timing:

- 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM (Tuesday to Saturday)
- Saturday: 3:00 AM
- Sunday 6:00 AM
- Monday 3:00 AM
