- 4 - 2hr shifts Thur/Fri/Sat/Sun - evenings from 7:30pm to 9:30pm
- Friday and Saturday - days from 8:00am to 12 noon or 3:00pm

The evenings are a social time with client before getting him ready and into bed. The days are to assist with physio and social activities. Be prepared to laugh and have fun with your client. This is a busy, active, and very rewarding position.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to look after the client in his own home. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality client care while ensuring a clean and safe environment. This position requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life. Help bring joy into your clients life

This is a no-scent, no smoking environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist client with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Be familiar with condom catheters.
- Perform lifting techniques as needed to assist client in transferring.
- Maintain cleanliness in clients area, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Keep accurate notes in administering medications.
- Monitor and report changes in patients' condition to family members promptly.
- Engage client in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
- MUST BE DEPENDABLE.

**Skills**
- Experience in working with persons with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of patient care principles.
- Ability to perform lifting techniques safely and effectively.
- Be comfortable with maneuvering electric wheelchair and overhead lifts.
- Compassionate care-giving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with family.
- A proactive approach to cleaning and maintaining a safe environment for all.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 22 per week
