**Pest Control Technician (Full-time)**

We are a **locally owned social enterprise**, specializing in pest control and junk removal for supportive housing. Experience in Pest Control, BC Driver's License (class 5), and a clean Driver's Abstract are required. We operate 7 days/week; overtime is not required but is available.

Benefits are available, 2 weeks of paid vacation, and access to the company vacation property in the Gulf Islands. **Preference will be given to equity seeking groups, which includes but is not limited: People of Colour, Women, Immigrants, LGBTQ2I+, and/or Youth.**

**Full-Time Pest Control Technician Duties**:

- Inspect buildings and outside areas at regular intervals
- Determine type of treatment required and provide estimate of cost to clients
- Coach and counsel clients to prevent pest infestation
- Inspect premises to identify infestation source, extent of damage, and access to infested locations
- Study preliminary reports and diagrams of infested area and determine treatment type required to eliminate and prevent recurrence of infestation
- Perform other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Pest Control Technician License
- Experience in Pest Control
- Valid Driver’s License / Clean Driving Abstract
- Ability to use a smartphone
- Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service and time management skills
- Will have to undergo a criminal background check
- Ability to manage and work alone or as part of a team
