New to You Thrift Market is looking for a Full-Time Retail Associate to join our team of staff and volunteers. This position will be for 5 days per week from 10:15 am to 6:15 pm. This position will be in July and August.

As this is a Canada Summer Jobs position, applicants will only be considered if they are 15-30 years old.

This position is perfect for you if:

- You are friendly, approachable and have a positive attitude
- You have a strong work ethic, are responsible and reliable
- You are a team player

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Sorting and receiving donations, this may include, pricing, storing, and displaying items
- Operating the POS system
- Assisting with supervising volunteers and work experience students
- Opening and closing procedures
- Small Maintenance Tasks

Knowledge and Skill Set:

- Excellent sales and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous retail experience will be considered an asset
- Experience with social media is considered an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 weeks

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour

Day range:

- No weekends

- Day shift
