Pasteurizer Operator

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pasteurizer Operator at in Calgary, AB. The Pasteurizer Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining pasteurization equipment, ensuring proper pasteurization processes, monitoring and recording temperature and pressure readings, and adhering to all food safety regulations. Additional tasks include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining detailed logs and records.

**Qualifications**:
Operate pasteurization equipment safely and efficiently according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Monitor and record temperatures, flow rates, and pressures during the pasteurization process to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
Conduct routine tests and checks to verify product quality and pasteurization effectiveness
Maintain accurate documentation of processing records, charts, and logs in accordance with state and federal requirements
Clean, sanitize, and inspect equipment to ensure sanitary conditions and prevent contamination
Troubleshoot and report mechanical issues or deviations in the process to maintenance and supervisors
Work collaboratively with quality assurance and production teams to ensure product safety and consistency
Adhere to all food safety, HACCP, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) guidelines
Assist with other duties in the production area as assigned
**Requirements**:
High school diploma or GED
Prior experience in dairy or food/beverage processing is preferred
Strong understanding of pasteurization principles and food safety protocols
Ability to read and interpret charts, gauges, and control panels
Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and data entry
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Exposure to varying temperatures, wet conditions, and noise levels
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Pay: From $18.16 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
