**GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Responsible for assisting the Physiotherapist in clinical and administrative duties. As directed by the Physiotherapist, the PT Assistant treats patients through exercise, massage, and other therapeutic interventions. Assists in administrative functions such as proper documentation and filing, and cleaning & maintenance of treatment rooms, laundry, supplies, and equipment.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up therapy equipment and ensure supplies are complete and adequate
- Direct patients to change rooms and assist patients to undress, if requested
- Direct and accompany the patient to the treatment room
- Assist during patient treatment/intervention as directed by the Physiotherapist; Ensure patient performs prescribed activities/interventions in an appropriate and safe manner
- Monitor/Record length of treatment; Record basic information and treatments/ interventions in patient chart or file
- Clean treatment room and equipment after each appointment
- Change linen as needed; Assist in the washing and folding of linen as needed
- Clean and maintain physiotherapy equipment, ensure that they are always in good working condition

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
