Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers - Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections - Maintain a clean and organized bar area - Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol - Collect payment from customers and provide accurate change - Monitor customer behavior and ensure a safe and enjoyable atmosphere - Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed - Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient service Qualifications: - Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred - Strong knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of customers - Proficient in cash handling and operating a point-of-sale (POS) system - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Basic math skills for calculating orders and handling payments - Knowledge of food handling safety regulations Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
