Deep Cove Winery is a boutique winery located in North Saanich. We are dedicated to producing exceptional wines and providing a memorable experience for our guests. We are looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable servers to join our team and contribute to our welcoming atmosphere.

As a Server/Bartender at Deep Cove Winery, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an outstanding experience. You will be responsible for providing exceptional service, sharing your knowledge of our wines, and creating a warm and inviting environment. Your passion for wine and commitment to customer satisfaction will help enhance our guests' enjoyment and promote our brand.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and seat guests with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Provide detailed descriptions of our wines and food offerings
- Take orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve wine and food to guests, ensuring proper presentation and timing
- Educate guests about our wines, answering questions and making recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables and service stations
- Handle guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Bartend for special events, assisting with set-up, clean-up and inventory if needed
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required
- Support team members and work collaboratively to ensure smooth operations
- Uphold Deep Cove Winery’s standards for service and guest satisfaction

**Requirements**:

- Previous serving experience in a restaurant or winery setting preferred
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Strong interest in wine and/or a desire to expand your wine knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Positive attitude, reliable, and a team player
- Must be of legal drinking age in BC (19 years)
- Serving It Right certification (or willingness to obtain)
