**Key Responsibilities**:
Facility Setup and Optimization:

- Oversee the setup and organization of the new warehouse facility, ensuring an efficient and scalable layout.
- Continuously review and improve workflows to maximize productivity and space utilization.

Equipment and Systems Management:

- Manage and maintain a fleet of Raymond warehouse equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Oversee the implemented **put-to-light system**, identifying opportunities for workflow improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Utilize a **Warehouse Management System (WMS)** to streamline inventory, picking, and packing processes.

Vendor Management and Negotiation:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with warehouse supply vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and procurement terms to secure the best value for equipment, technology, and services.
- Ensure timely delivery and quality of supplies to support seamless warehouse operations.

Team Leadership:

- Supervise an initial group of 15 temporary warehouse staff during the transition phase.
- Recruit, train, and build a permanent warehouse team, assigning specific roles to align with operational needs.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Operational Excellence:

- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, accuracy, and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.

**Qualifications**:
**Experience**:

- **20 years of experience** in warehouse management, including setting up and scaling large facilities.
- Proven expertise in managing and maintaining Raymond warehouse equipment.
- Significant experience in **dealing with and negotiating contracts with warehouse supply vendors.**:

- Proficiency in utilizing **Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)** to drive operational efficiency.

Leadership Skills:

- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Technical Proficiency:

- Familiarity with put-to-light systems and their optimization for warehouse operations.
- Proficient in logistics, inventory management, and warehouse software tools.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
