Purpose:
The Warehouse Manager oversees all aspects of the warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy while maintaining a healthy and safe work environment. They complete all duties related to shipping, receiving, and handling of warehouse inventory as well as management of all warehouse staff.

Job Responsibilities:
- Following all company policies, procedures and legislative requirements
- Overseeing all aspects of warehouse operation and management
- Scheduling of staff and delegating daily duties where necessary.
- Hiring, performance coaching, training and termination of warehouse personnel.
- Implementing and/or revising programs/procedures to improve warehouse efficiency, accuracy and/or accountability.
- Orchestrating proper and timely shipping, receiving and handling of inventory
- Ensuring WH inventory and contents is secure, properly stored, rotated, organized and accounted for.
- Assisting warehouse staff in meeting shipping deadlines and completing tasks as required in order to satisfy customer expectations.
- Inventory counts - preparation, ensuring accuracy, verifying thru double counts, addressing discrepancies,
- Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for the warehouse team (including compliance with safety shoes, operation of the walkie rider by certified personnel only, proper lifting, etc).
- Attending to various administrative duties (including, but not limited to verifying/authorizing punch clock times, resolving issues with problem shipments, picking/co-signing targeted orders, ordering specialty items, etc.)
- After hours response/access to the warehouse in emergency situations (e.g. Tamiflu for flu outbreaks)
- After hours response in circumstances where the security system is trigger
Qualifications:
- Completion of high school
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a warehouse supervisory role and 8 years experience in a warehouse environment
- Must be computer literate with a background in Pronto Xi an asset
- Full Driver’s license in the province on their practice and clean driver’s abstract
- Criminal background check is required
- Health and Safety awareness training is an asset
- Must be able to lift up to 25kg
