Job Title: Accounting and Finance Support Analyst

Term: Temporary (12 month)

Location: Calgary, Alberta

Reports to: IS Team Lead, Accounting and Finance

**Purpose**:
**Main Responsibilities & Activities**:

- Assist with governance tasks, internal audit, and user verifications.
- Maintenance and routing of incoming support tickets related to the business unit.
- Contribute and support Business Systems Analysts with reporting requests, including SQL queries, Power BI, and SSRS
- Identify and drive issue resolution for software and related data issues.
- Assist, where required, with data conversions and software implementations.
- Work with IS team members to ensure accurate and timely conversion of data into production environments.
- Participate in change management process and protocol.
- Provide ad-hoc training as required to resolve recurring user issues.
- Work with third party vendors to optimize solution delivery.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- Post-Secondary education in Business, Accounting, or Computer Science is required.
- Minimum 5 years Accounting System/ERP frontend and backend support experience is required.
- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is required.
- Proficiency with SQL query scripting is required.
- Data conversion/ETL experience is an asset.
- Acquisition and Disposition experience is an asset.
- Understanding of the business use of QByte FM, Excalibur, and Aucerna Execute is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
- Well organized with an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail with an understanding of best practice standards is essential.
- Team player who enjoys learning and contributing to team goals
