You’re the type of person to assess risks and opportunities, contributing to outcomes that support both operational needs and broader business objectives.What you’ll do:Here is a sample of some of what your workdays may look like:Work closely with NorthRiver Midstream Finance and Accounting, Tax and Treasury, Supply Chain, and IT Teams to triage, prioritize, resolve issues and implement systems and/or process improvement solutions.Configure, maintain, and optimize SAP Finance FI, CO, AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Group Reporting, SAC Planning and Treasury (TR, FSCM) modules to support cash management, payment processing, and banking operations.Work with the business to streamline and automate the reconciliation process ensuring accuracy and compliance with reconciliation tools, such as Blackline.Business Partner to the Finance/Accounting Business team; understanding priorities, driving optimization of process, leading small enhancement projects.Serve as a trusted advisor, challenging assumptions and supporting informed decisions.Support audit, SOX, and regulatory compliance reporting related to finance and treasury activities.Provide support for IT and systems integration during the onboarding of acquired entities and the establishment of new banking relationships.Develop documentation and training for the Record to Report business processes and best practices, including requirements gathering, functional design documents, test scripts, Knowledge base and quick reference guides.Participate in and drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimizations or automations to produce Business value.Recognize and improve the company’s use of the SAP System, using best practice and standard delivered solutions.Understand and analyze business requirements and translate them into system requirements, configurations and customizations.Work closely with and monitor our contracted AMS (Application Managed Service) technical and ultimately meet Business expectations.What we offer:Competitive salary and benefits package (health, dental, vision, and more).A culture of continuous learning and mentorship from the best in the business (and fun).An opportunity to work in the heart of downtown Calgary with great amenities including a brand new, subsidized gym and meeting spaces.What you bring:RequiredBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.7+ years IT experience supporting finance, accounting, or treasury roles with direct experience working in SAP Finance and Accounting modules/systems.Ability to influence and build strong relationships with Business teamsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative team setting.Demonstrated ability to be innovative, initiate, lead or manage change.Experience supporting or leading process improvement.Understanding of related master data and integration points with other SAP processes such as procurement, asset management, and time management.Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities.Ability to work closely with business partners to gather business improvement requirements and prioritize continuous improvement ideas.PreferredGreat organizational and time management skills.Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance or Treasury modules leveraging suite of Fiori applications.Experience with FI, CO, AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Group Reporting, SAC Planning, Treasury (TR, FSCM) modules and Blackline Reconciliation toolFamiliarity with payment automation, cash pooling, and bank connectivity.Working knowledge of financial regulations and audit procedures.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.If this sounds like your next career adventure, we'd love to hear from youAt NorthRiver Midstream we embrace a culture of diversity and inclusion with equal access to opportunities based on individual merit by creating an environment which encourages all employees to contribute their unique capabilities and perspectives. #J-18808-Ljbffr
