Norellco Contractors is an Edmonton-based company servicing heavy construction from small to large projects. Our underground division has a strong reputation for successfully installing shallow and deep, storm, water and sewer facilities in highly developed urban areas, and repairing existing infrastructure. A large portion of our projects are within Edmonton and surrounding areas.
**Job description**:
Norellco Contractors Ltd. is looking for a Dozer operator(s) to join our team.
**Job Profile**:
- Safe operation of dozer as it pertains to stripping, ditching, sloping, levelling, ripping, clean up support.
- Confidently operate dozer in close proximity to ground personnel and existing utilities.
- Possess and demonstrate the understanding of grades; experience cutting, filling.
- Ensure all job tasks comply with health and safety policies.
- Attend site meetings to ensure understanding of job, safety and quality requirements.
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life.
- Operate equipment according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
- Perform daily pre-use walk around equipment safety and maintenance checks.
- Record Keeping (equipment and maintenance inspections).
- Maintain cleanliness of heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required.
- Ensure heavy equipment is securely stored.
- Advise the onsite supervisor of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.
- Maintain inventory for equipment (I.e. track shovel, grease gun, oils and lubricants).
- Follow direction from supervisor.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as in a group, self-driven.
- Follow the approved plan to design and construct project.

**Working Conditions**:
- This position is identified as safety sensitive, may require pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
- Overtime and extended work hours may be required.
- Work conducted outdoors in diverse weather and ground conditions.
**Job Requirements**:
- Possess CSA-approved steel-toed boots, safety-vest and hard-hat.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract and reliable means of transportation.
- Ground Disturbance Level II required.
- CSTS-2020 Training required.
- WHMIS 2015 Training required.
**Training/Skills Considered Assets**:
- Intermediate First Aid Training.
- Basic Rigging Training.
