**Parts Runner / Labourer**

Firma Contracting is currently seeking a Driver/Parts Runner to work on underground projects located in Edmonton. We offer competitive wages, work / life balance, great opportunity for advancement, training and potential for work over the winter.

**Duties include (but are not limited to)**:

- Driving to get parts, supplies, tools as needed
- Physical tasks, including digging, sweeping, lifting, shoveling, and moving materials
- Ensure safety fences / barricades are all in place
- Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed
- Actively participate in all safety meetings
- General site housekeeping

**Required Skills**:

- Previous parts running experience is required
- Previous construction experience is an asset
- Understand how to use power/small tools such as plate tampers, carb saws, etc.
- Ability to work long hours (10+ hour days) outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical able to perform heavy manual tasks, including lifting, shoveling, moving heavy materials up to 50lbs
- Working understanding of site hazard assessments and able to complete daily safety documentation in an accurate and timely manner
- Be fit for duty and prepared for work each day
- Positive attitude / team player
- Strong communication / listening skills and ability to follow direction

**Required Certifications**:

- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
