**What to expect on the job**:
The Sales Representative is responsible for maximizing sales at the retail store via regular, professional store coverage. The incumbent must be proficient in all aspects of driving sales in all retail store banners through mechanisms such as planogram, execution/enforcement, and promotion support and auditing.
- This role is home office based. A company car will be provided. _
- Ensure all listed products are carried in all retail stores within assigned territory. Ensure retail stores follow planograms and partner with store management in those areas that are not following plans.
- Identify and partner with key store personnel to ensure all goals /responsibilities are achieved at each store /banner.
- Maintain accurate reports with respect to sales and prospects.
- To be knowledgeable about all customer centric information provided to you and to present on a regular basis to key store personnel to drive sales opportunities.
- Monitor store shelves for unsaleable product and remove when necessary. Proactively partner with store to keep unsaleable costs to a minimum.
- Collaborate with stores to promote product demonstrations and ensure store support and buy in.
- Communicate all important competitive activity and store news to the Manager, National Field Sales.
- Maintain a high level of service to existing customers; managing the customer relationship from contract execution through delivery to after sales service; and soliciting referrals from these customers, where possible.
- Participate in merchandising and promotional activities, and will be required to lift cases of product in doing so. Must be able to lift 20lbs.
- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge.

**Must haves**
- College Graduate or industry related experience
- 3-5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the consumer-packaged good industry
- Previous experience within the grocery business
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to accurately complete regular reporting and audits
- Strong organizational skills, excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Motivated and creative team player.
- Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
- Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm coupled with the ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Valid Driver’s license and a clean driving record

**High Liner Foods is Remote Friendly** This role is home office based. Note there will be occasions where the Sales Representative will work out of the Toronto office. for meetings etc.
