Roofing Coordinator

**At Flynn, it's not just a job, it's a career** This position will be based out of our Halifax Branch (25 Neptune Crescent, Dartmouth, NS B2Y 4P9), reporting to the Roofing Manager. **A Day in the Life**: - Matching up invoices to PO’s and approving them - Maintenance of contracts and relevant documentation - Assist with collections - Invoicing customers for completed work and preparing statutory declarations, insurance, WSIB, etc. - Holdback billings - Attend internal and external meetings and develop notes - Submitting insurance requests - Preparing warranties as required - Prepare work orders, quotes, purchase orders, etc. - Create and maintain tracking spreadsheets - Work with the PM and Estimator to prepare comprehensive material lists for the projects - Assist the Superintendent and Project Managers, where applicable, in the day-to-day duties of a project’s administration - Coordinate submittals, procure all close-out documents including warranties and operating and maintenance manuals - Maintain Job Binder & Job Reports - Issue PO's from Estimate - Other duties as required **What We Are Seeking**: - Experience in a construction environment and/or the Roofing industry is considered an asset - Display excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to multitask, prioritize, stay organized, and perform in a deadline-oriented environment - Reliable, with strong problem-solving skills - Work independently as well as in a team-based environment - Work in a fast-paced environment and strong attention to detail **What We Offer**: - Competitive wages - Health Benefits & RRSP matching program - On-going career development programs through our in-house Flynn University and eLearning courses - Great environment where our moto is "Flynn Family Winning Together" LI-AN1 INDCANRO Flynn Group of Companies is the leading trade contractor in North America that works on virtually every aspect of a building’s outer layer, including Roofing, Glazing, Waterproofing, and Architectural Metals.
