**Human Resources Administrator**

**Objective**:
The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for administering a variety of HR programs and projects, and for providing Human Resources support on a day-to-day basis as assigned by the Manager of Human Resources. This role will have a strong focus on talent acquisition and recruitment.

**Role and Responsibilities**:
Provide support in recruitment activities including:

- Posting of job openings
- Prescreen interviewing selected applicants
- Booking interviews
- Reference checks
- Tracking metrics
- Providing suggestions on new ways to attract talent
- Attending career fairs
- Administer online new hire, benefits and pension/RSP enrolment packages
- Assist in the preparation of various HR related correspondence, policies and procedures
- Administrative support for the payroll/HR department including organization of employee documentation and other duties as assigned.

**Skill/Knowledge Requirements**:

- Completed or enrolled in Bachelor of Business Administration program with a focus in Human Resources
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, flexible and adaptable
- High ethical standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, analyze, prioritize, identify and action solutions
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Capacity to think creatively and outside of the box
- Prior HR administrative support is an asset

**This is an hybrid role in HR/payroll with the possibility to work 2 days/week from home.
