BA Blacktop, part of the Terus Construction Ltd. group, is looking to hire Equipment Operators based in Cranbrook, BC.

**Duties/Tasks**:

- Operate equipment on public roadways, maintaining proper awareness of ones surroundings
- Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and clean, lubricate, and refill the equipment as necessary
- Maneuver heavy equipment into loading and unloading positions
- Must be willing to travel and work out town occasionally when required or necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Have a Class 5 Driver License
- Pass a Drug Test
- Experience operating equipment in construction areas is preferred.
- Ability to perform manual labor.
- Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies.
- Work overtime as required.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
