If you're innovative, passionate about people, and ready to make an impact, we'd love to have you on board As People & Talent Partner, Learning & Development, you’ll participate in transformative projects including implementing a cutting-edge Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, enhancing our Performance Management Program, and modernizing our corporate policies. This position builds organizational resilience and will develop and implement the framework for learning and development for employees at the Town of Innisfil and lead efforts in building an inclusive and diverse work environment. In this role, you will also be responsible for: - Leading the overall performance management and development program across the organization, developing a framework encouraging a continuous learning culture where learning outcomes are shared cross-functionally and integrated into work practices. - Championing the overall design and implementation of a diverse and forward-thinking organizational learning and development strategy aligned with the community strategic plan and corporate strategic plan. - Partnering with leaders to implement workforce planning strategies, including analyzing business and strategic plans, identifying critical roles and competencies, conducting current state assessments, gap analysis and action planning and succession planning programs. - Collaborating with the People & Talent team and across the organization on internal diversity and inclusion principles, practices and policies/programs that are aligned across the organization. Partnering in designing employee focused programs, initiatives and training to ensure awareness and education. - Supporting People & Talent’s component in maintaining the Town’s accessibility program in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR). - Job Requirements - A university degree in Human Resources, Education or related discipline or University degree in related field and post-secondary diploma in Human Resources. - Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years’ experience in Human Resources, with experience designing and creating effective e-learning and classroom courses for adult learners, and demonstrated experience designing, developing and/or implementing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives/programs. - Training and Development Professional (CTDP) or Certified Training Practitioner (CTP). - Teaching and Training Adults Certificate. - A valid Class "G" driver's licence in good standing and reliable vehicle to use on corporate business. - Availability to attend evening and/or weekend meetings or other events as required.
