**Overview**
Lee Family Dentistry in Kitsilano is looking for a part-time dental receptionist to join our dynamic dental office team We are a busy, family run (2 dentists - brother and sister) dental office with great long term patients and staff, many of whom have been with the practice for over 30 years. Hours are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 7:15am - 3:15pm with the potential to add more in the future.
**Duties**
- Greet patients upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
- Schedule and confirm appointments using electronic medical records systems, ensuring accurate patient information is maintained.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
- Process patient payments and handle insurance verification to ensure smooth billing processes.
- Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate patient flow and support clinical operations as needed.
- Stay updated on dental terminology and office protocols to provide informed assistance to patients.
**Experience**
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental office is preferred, with knowledge of dental procedures and insurance.
- Familiarity with Tracker is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with a friendly demeanor are essential for this position.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
