**Escape Manor is an Immersive Entertainment Destination offering Escape Rooms, Axe Throwing, Bocce Ball, Kitchen & Bar with an Interactive Games Lounge Hamilton is our next stop, and we are looking for some amazing peeps to join our growing family** **JOB SUMMARY - **Working alongside Escape Manor's Executive Chef & Kitchen Managers, the Junior Sous Chef will be a cooperative partner in the success of our food offerings, including A La Carte and Catering. Liaise with suppliers, other staff and management to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen. **BENCHMARKS FOR SUCCESS**:Drawing on a few years of experience in professional kitchens, you have a valid Food Handler's Certification, and might be working towards a Red Seal designation. You should possess a sense of urgency, a winning attitude, and a passion for hospitality. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Though not an exhaustive list, this should provide a "snapshot" of what an average week will look like for you. It could include all, some, or none of these (or other fun things as required/assigned) Business: - Opening/Closing Kitchen - Maintenance of Daily/Weekly & Periodic Deep Clean Duties - Manage all aspects of the kitchen alongside the Executive Chef - Help establish “Escape Manor” as a premiere entertainment brand in the city - Understand budgets, forecasts and other operational targets - Lead by example and be a resource to all members of the team People: - Work with the GM and Chef on new menu ideast - Develop a culture of service excellence and “cheerleading” to drive staff engagement - Enable a fun work environment and ensure productivity Facilities and Systems - Ensure cleanliness of kitchen, BOH and all Food Storage areas - Develop storage and inventory systems for Supplies and Sundries - Ensure venue is fully stocked with all necessary supplies and backups - Cover Prep Cook & Line Cook SO...is this YOU?
