This is a union position located at our Watford landfill. Starting Wage: _$29.18 /hr._ Start time: 6:30 am - 3:30 pm Shift: Mondays - Fridays, OT rates are paid after 44 hours weekly. Saturdays are fully paid at OT rates for all hours worked. Job Summary** Sets-up and operates a wide variety of equipment like forklift, skid steer, and bobcat, and performs work per specifications. **II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. Operates equipment in compliance with the company operating procedure. Verifies that equipment is in working order, e.g., tooling, safety mechanisms. Moves and positions raw materials and finished components with use of material moving equipment. Performs daily maintenance and cleaning activities. **III. Supervisory Responsibilities** This job has no supervisory duties. **IV. Qualifications** The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. A. Education and Experience Education: None. Experience: Ability to operate various small equipment such as a skid steer, sweeper, or tractor. Mechanical aptitude is an asset B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements Must be legally eligible to work in Canada with a valid Canadian SIN (social insurance number). C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required None required. **V. Work Environment** Listed below are key points regarding environmental demands and work environment of the job.
