Seasonal Yard Maintenance

**Position Details**
This position is a part-time temporary position that will ensure the care and upkeep of the lawn, trees, and shrubs outside the greenhouse facility. The individual will work independently to complete upkeep procedures, while also adhering to health and safety measures.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- General yard work, including lawn mowing, trimming, landscape improvement, planting and maintenance of plants, shrubs, and flower beds
- Ensure safe and efficient operation, care, and maintenance of tools, and equipment, such as lawnmowers, and weedwhackers

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Strong attention to detail
- Able to walk, stand, bend, and crouch throughout the day
- Comfort operating maintenance equipment such as a weed whacker, lawn mower, etc.
- Employees responsible for their own CSA-approved work boots
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Willing and able to work in various weather conditions

**Education & Experience**:

- 1 year experience with lawn mower and weed whacker
- WHMIS certification is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
