As the Lead Climbing Arborist, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of tree care operations, including tree climbing, pruning, removal, and health assessments. You will lead a team of grounds people, ensuring that all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform tree climbing, pruning, and removal operations using industry-standard techniques and equipment.
- Conduct thorough tree health and risk assessments, providing recommendations for tree care.
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of grounds people, promoting a culture of safety and teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns.
- Operate and maintain equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, and climbing gear.
- Assist in developing and implementing work plans and schedules.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, equipment maintenance, and safety checks.

**Qualifications**:

- Certified Arborist credential (ISA or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tree climbing and arboriculture.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong knowledge of tree biology, identification, and care techniques.
- Proficiency in the use of climbing and rigging equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
