**SUMMARY DESCRIPTION**:
The Accounting Associate is responsible for accounts payable, office/operations support duties, and special projects assigned by supervisor. Responsibilities also include working with two Quebec locations in the Montreal area and require on-site support for both locations. This position is an on-site role at our
Montreal location with 20% of time spent at Lachine location.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Accounts Payable
- Office Administration
- Operation / Production Support (Safety, JSA/JHSC, etc.)

**AUTHORITY LEVEL (if applicable)**:

- Not Applicable

**EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**
**Required**:

- Experience in Accounts Payable
- Oracle or other ERP system knowledge
- Strong MS Office & Excel skills and attention to detail is needed to be successful in this position
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of Silgan co-workers as well as outside contacts at

Silgan suppliers throughout North America & Globally

**Preferred**:

- Experience in Manufacturing Industry
- Inventory Management

**EDUCATION**:
**Required**:High School Diploma
**Preferred**: Some college
