We are seeking a full time medical office assistant for a medical specialist clinic.
**Full job description**
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a specialist office
- Medical Office Certification **and** at least **2 years **experience working in a medical office.
- EMR experience is must, using **ACCURO**:
- Ability to work well and stay calm under pressure, problem solve, prioritize and multi-task.
- Work independently on your own
- Strict maintenance of privacy and confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal, written and telephone communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of computers and office equipment
- Additional languages such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Punjabi would be an asset
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Professional correspondence with patients
- Experience with medical billing and rejected billing
- Answering phones
- Scheduling appointments
- Reception duties and keeping office tidy
- Supporting physicians requests
- Importing and uploading data from medical devices eg. Continuous Glucose Monitors, Insulin pumps.
- Managing office supplies
- General office duties, as required
- COVID and yearly flu vaccination required
Full time (40 Hr) Monday-Friday.
Wage determined by experience

**Experience**:
- Canadian MOA: 2 years (required)
- Accuro EMR: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- MOA Certification from Canada (required)

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
